How do I book a session?
To book a session, you can either book online by clicking Book Online here or at the menu bar. Once you submit your session I will reach out to you with a contract, invoice, questionnaire, and a follow up email! You can only book online for a regular session, Weddings need to be booked VIA the contact form. Under Contact fill out the form and hit submit! Within 48 hours, you will receive an email from me to start the process of getting you booked! We will work together find a time, location, and date that works best for you. From there, a contract be drawn up and signed, a 50% non-refundable deposit will be paid, and your session will be booked!
Is a deposit required to book?
Yes, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required to book your session. This is to protect my business and time and to ensure that you will be available for your allotted time and date!
When will I receive my photos?
Once our session is completed, you will receive your selection gallery within 24-48 hours! Once you return your selection to me, your edited gallery will be sent to you within 2 weeks!
Do you have a client closet?
Yes! do have a small collection of dresses for women. These are mainly maternity but fit most anyone! If interested, don't hesitate to ask for my client closet guide!
This is my first shoot, what can I expect?
First, thank you for trusting me with your memories! I work hard to make every shoot as stress-free and fun as possible! Once you book your session, I will send you my location guide and my style guide to help you find the perfect spot and eliminate those "What to wear?" questions! Before you arrive at your location, take a deep; photoshoots are supposed to be fun, relaxed, and imperfect! I assure you I will have all the poses and prompts ready capture all your moments beautifully!
Is there any session you don't offer?
I do not offer studio newborn photography at this time. This is a very delicate skill set and does not match my personal photography style. However, I hope to add this in the future for my business.
Do you have a Indoor studio option?
Yes! I do have a studio option! The studio I use is in Manhattan, KS, and there is an extra fee. There are many backdrop options and props available as well!
Can I pay for someone else's session?
Yes! I do have a "Pay It Forward" fund for the community. I strongly believe that EVERYONE deserves to their "above the mantel" photo. While I offer "pay what you can" events, I can't afford to provide low-cost shoots for everyone. If you would like to donate funds to cover a portion or the entirety of someone's shoot, please let me know, and I will be able to provide further instructions!
Do you have gift certificates?
Yes! I do have gift certificates for sale at 50% or 100% of the cost of a session (e.g., you pay $125, the recipient pays $125; you pay $250, the recipient pays $0). You will receive both a digital and a physical gift certificate, each featuring a code, the code should be told to me so I can apply your discount!
What makes you different from other photographers?
I offer a unique and personal experience. Your session is a blessing me and an opportunity to create memories that will last a lifetime and be passed down for generations. I thank God for each of my clients, many of whom become friends. You will receive not only high-quality images, but also an experience that will keep you coming back for years to come for each special moment.
Do you Travel and, is there a fee?
Yes! I travel frequently to the Kansas City area and I am willing and able to travel with ample notice. I do have a travel fee of $25 past 50 miles with an additional 50 cents per mile after. (E.g. 67 miles would be $33.50) If travel requires a flight, the client must cover the flight cost, which will be factored into the total cost along with lodging and vehicle rental if needed.
